COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS
Working closely with Panasonic and fabric studios in Japan and Mexico, ATW80F launched a series of collaborations, beginning with beautiful installations at CES (Consumer Electronic Show) in Las Vegas January 2024.
Funded by a grant from One Earth- Daughters for Earth, ATW80F has partnered with Artisan Project, Ain Leuh Women’s Cooperative, Jude Lab, and The Microbe Institute on a multi-disciplinary collaboration among traditional weavers, researchers, designers, textile experts, scientists, anthropologists, and businesswomen to create natural dyes from plants and microbes of the Ain Leuh region of Morocco.
ATW80F partnered with Smithsonian for a wild two weeks of fascinating fabrics, talented artists, incredible makers, interactive looms, workshops, talks, and community gatherings at the 2022 Smithsonian Folklife Festival.
